In an effort to diversify its existing and already stable trading and services business, Fiamma ventured into property development and its involvement in property development began when it aquired two parcels of commercial land in Kuala Lumpur in 2007 and commenced the development of residential and commercial properties in Taman Kota Jaya in Kota Tinggi, Johor in 2008.
The first project in Kuala Lumpur, comprising the development of office suites in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur which commenced construction in 2013 has been successfully completed in March 2015.
The development in Taman Kota Jaya in Kota Tinggi, Johor is on going. The development of Vida Heights, comprising 247 units of serviced apartment in Johor Bahru which commenced construction in 2014 is expected to be completed in the second half of 2016. The development of serviced apartments in Bandar Manjalara, Kuala Lumpur is currently on going and is expected to be completed in four years.
The redevelopment of the existing warehouse land in Bandar Manjalara, Kuala Lumpur into commercial properties is targeted in the second half of 2016.
The land in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng and Jalan Sungai Besi, both in Kuala Lumpur which were purchased in 2007 and 2015, will be developed into serviced apartments and mix development properties respectively.
